A Rush And A Blur

It's March. Look at that. Month three of two-thousand-and-thirteen. Two and a half weeks since my last blog post. A rush and a blur. Mostly working. Always working. A mix of one job then the next, then the next.

But today, today is a day off. Me, in my pjs, nearly 5pm in the afternoon. Laptop powered up, surrounded by notes and files and calendars. Once again, doing my favourite thing - list ticking.

So, in the spirit of catching up, here's what we did on Valentine's Day.

First up, Griffith Park. Surprisingly closer to our house than expected, but we took the car. There's a lot to get done in one day here.

A rush and a blur. Driving through a tunnel to get to the top of Griffith Park.

The top of the LA world. Griffith Park Observatory.

Back on solid ground. Cheesecake and coffee at The Cheesecake Factory, at The Americana.

 Lego World.

A skip and a hop, and an exploration of Sunset Junction, in Silver Lake.

 Drinks at Bar Stella.

And a phenomenal dinner at The Black Cat. Yum yum yum. My steak frites was out of this world.
