I ordered the restaurant's signature dish for my main - the black cod with miso. It was light and delicate and sweet and melt-in-the-mouth. The flakes of fish that I broke off were each as thick and moist as uncooked sashimi would be. I could go back for this one dish time and time again.
Husband ate the salmon teriyaki for his main - another perfectly balanced dish. I couldn't believe the delicate flavours.
We also couldn't believe the swank and swarmy atmosphere. This is one trendy spot. Don't expect to get off lightly here when it comes to the bill.
But all reviews aside, it was a wonderful feast, and a wonderful way to spend yet another anniversary with Husband. On days like today, all I can hope for is more incredible feasts, and more incredible nights out.
After dinner we went for a late night visit to the Empire State building, and basked in the beauty of the Big Apple.
PS I was just reading this very interesting article from The Huffington Post on 15 Ways to Stay Married For 15 Years. There's some pretty good tips in there. Though I'm not sure about #7 - really? What do you think of the tips?

Lovely way to spend an anniversary - you both look so happy. Congrats. mom
How wonderful! You both look amazing. #7 is the only one that I disagree with. The rest all sounds pretty legit :) What good advice!
